about

The brutal execution of a child triggers the anger of the people...

lyrics

THE SON OF JUAMBALI

Long is the struggle for life
Also to swallow the rage
For a child that soon became a man
There’s no gladness, no pleasure, but only pain…

That dull day was reaching the end
The boy would beg hand in hand
But his tears could not buy food
All he had was a necklace of wood

His little sister cried
She would be soon to die
So he took his strong decision
And went on a suicide mission

That day young man blood was spilled
Once again childhood was torn and killed
A little kid with many dreams in his head

Of apples and pears he stole four
Time ran out and couldn’t get more
But against him a soldier rose
And put an end to his useless cause

His lymph flowing out of his chest
The rage of the people could not be repressed
His little sister cried louder
And hatred growin’ stronger

That day soldier’s blood was spilled
Unacceptable for any of us to get killed
A man with power upon his back

I was there and saw it all
The furious crowd breakin’ his bones
Avenging that child they chose their fate
The President said “Leave only stones!”
I was there and heard his words
A huge deep hole tore up my soul
But clearer was my future deed
Although I regret what I did

That day humanity was left behind
To get a world of insane despair and shame
A land that soon will start hatin’ flesh.
